Company Founder and President LaZerrick A. Howard established L. A. Howard Construction Company, Inc. (L. A. Howard) in 1993. From the start, Howard built a company team that is equally dedicated to both quality and safety. That integrity has earned the trust of our broad customer base.

 

The Company offers a wide range of structural concrete construction services from repair work to complex new construction. Having completed over 135 construction projects, L. A. Howard has also partnered with several market leaders (including Turner, Sigal, and Whiting-Turner Contracting Company) to renovate federal office buildings and public schools in the District of Columbia.

 

L. A. Howard’s exceptional work and customer service has earned recognition throughout the D.C. construction industry. Most recently, we have been awarded the prestigious 2013 Washington Building Congress Craftsmanship Award for work done on the Howard Theatre Restoration project.

From management to worksite, we work side-by-side with our clients, drawing from decades of construction innovation and trouble-shooting experience. The Company President, who is active in our day-to-day operations, personally takes the time to understand the needs of each of our clients.
